Instructor Interns working with the Snow School by Christmas
The Internships at Panorama got off to a great start on the 3rd December 2014.
With a mixture of snowboard & ski instructor interns who were destined to stay the whole season and people taking part on a short level 1 course, everyone got along very well and soon got into the swing of training.
Training continued until 17th December and then the three day level 1 exams started. This is a nervous time for all including the snow school. If the interns don’t make it, they won’t get a job and the snow school are down an instructor for the very busy Christmas period.
The training proved to be fantastic and everyone on the programme including the interns and the short course holidays passed with flying colours. All were above standard for their teaching. Happy days.
All of the interns were offered employment with the Panorama Mountain Resort Snow School and worked a consecutive 10 days over the Christmas and New Year period.
They are now on regular hours and enjoying the lifestyle of professional ski and snowboard instructors.
Many thanks go to Randy Smith the course trainer and Jason Simpson the Panorama Snow School director.
