If you are aged between 18-30 and meet the basic eligibility criteria, you are all set to apply. One most exciting change is that you can now apply for two separate one-year visas.
The two years could either be spent consecutively or with a space in between, without the need for any sponsorship. This is excellent news, considering the previous restriction of one year only.
For Those looking to return to Canada for many seasons to come, having had two years of work experience will make gaining subsequent sponsored visas much easier.
There is also a substantial structural change that will significantly affect the application process. It will now be possible to apply directly to the Government of Canada. An application fee of $150 CDN (around £100), makes this a really cheap option. Find out more about how to apply for a visa via the Government of Canada.
As with previous years, BUNAC will still be offering their Canadian visa application services. Although you will pay a little more than applying to the Government of Canada directly, you will get a higher level of support from their UK offices, as well as a few other bonuses.

Please Note: This is only necessary if you intend to work in the same season, all other courses and trips will be covered by a regular holiday visa.
