Dating back to the 17th century, Courmayeur is a charming traditional mountaineering village located in the Aosta Valley. It sits at the foot of Mont Blanc – on the Italian side of the highest mountain in Europe.

With 14 peaks over 4000m, Courmayeur has spectacular mountain views and excellent terrain. It boasts a ski area that includes over 100km of piste, suitable for beginners through to experts, and a skiable vertical of 1,525m.

With huge open powder bowls, challenging mogul fields, amazing tree areas, groomed fast trails and a gentle beginner’s area, Courmayeur is the perfect place to train to be a ski or snowboard instructor.

And with all the teaching and shadowing experience you need to attain your BASI level 1 and 2 ski instructor qualifications, Courmayeur is an ideal place to kick start your ski instructor career.

Après Ski – buzzing nightlife

If you’re looking for a course destination with a vibrant Après scene, Courmayeur is a worthy contender. It has a very active nightlife, with crowded bars and nightclubs scattered throughout the Village, and there’s music and entertainment to suit all tastes.

Then there’s the food. On our Courmayeur course you get fed breakfast, lunch and dinner every day for 10 weeks. Breakfast and dinner are taken in the Telecabine hotel where you will be staying, and you will be issued with lunch vouchers to be used when you are out and about on the mountain during the day.

Accommodation

The friendly Hotel De La Telecabine is set among the woods of Dolonne. The hotel offers a free sauna, games room, bar and cosy en-suite rooms with a TV.

Especially when staying in Courmayeur for more than a few weeks, our students really appreciate the friendly and helpful young staff, who always make you feel welcome at the Hotel Telecabine.

The comfortable en-suite rooms at the Hotel Telecabine have either carpeted or parquet floors, plenty of storage, a desk & TV. The bathrooms include a shower, free toiletries and hairdryer – everything you need to feel at home.

Chilling out after a hard day training for your BASI Level 1 & 2 qualifications is easy at the Hotel Telecabine. Relax in the free sauna, enjoy a game of pinball, billiards or table football in the games room.
