Panorama has some of the best-advanced terrain in Canada and is home to many great Level 3 & 4 instructors. It is perfect for those who are short on time, short on funds or for the more advanced skiers who have the skill set to push themselves.

During your course, you’ll receive over 110 hours of dedicated Winter Sports coaching, which is only 6 days less than the 11 week program! Also included are all CSIA modules and exams for both Level 1 and 2, meaning there’s absolutely no extra costs to pay. Extra days are included for shadow teaching with the ski school, as well as your AST 1 Avalanche Awareness course which helps provide you with the skills to safely go off-piste, venture into the Taynton Power Bowl and ride the Monster on your days off.

At the end of the course, there is an option to join an incredible Heli Day so that you can experience untracked deep powder skiing and put your new skills to the test.

If the Junior World Championships & Red Bull have endorsed Panorama then it’s certainly good enough for us.

Panorama is a hidden gem of a resort – an Alpine-style, ski-in-ski-out hideaway, nestled deep in British Columbia’s Purcell mountains. Panorama has a village feel, but it’s far from sleepy.

With a huge ski area and choice of terrain on offer – including one of the largest vertical drops in North America and the powder heaven that is Taynton Bowl – there’s enough to keep your adventure going for months, no matter what your level.

If the Taynton Bowl isn’t enough, you can head to the Extreme Dream Zone. This is located on the front side of the Taynton Bowl and is all double black diamond terrain, with tight trees and big moguls. And not forgetting Wild Things – Panorama’s longest trail at 6.5km long. It starts at the top of the Taynton Bowl as a double black diamond steep narrow gully, before winding out onto a fast groomed, tree-lined run that leads into the Village.

Then there’s Rockstar Terrain Park, 1km long with over 6 acres of terrain, Rockstar is littered with huge jumps, tabletops, kickers, boxes and rails. The park is located off the Mile 1 express on the Powder trail.

Panorama also ranked first in the world for most space per skier in the 2020-2021 season! Why wouldn’t you want all that beautiful space to snowboard.

Enjoy 4 group dinners per week at restaurants across the resort as well as a 15% discount at all resort-owned restaurants, bars and cafes.

“I went on the 7 week fast track course to become a level 2 ski instructor at the Panorama resort, and i can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. The instructors that teach are considerate to the level of ability you are starting the course with, I went definitely being one of the worst skiers in my group, yet by the end of the course I felt as if I had caught up with everyone else. Not to mention all the instructors are great at personalising your learning experience allowing you to improve on the specific areas you are weak on, not just not just teaching you a set syllabus but pushing you even further than that so you truly feel comfortable on any slope by the end of your course.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to become a ski instructor as it was great fun and an experience I will never forget.”

– Charlie King, August 2022
