New Zealand is the place to be for snowboarding in the European summertime, and Queenstown is a mecca for instructors looking to chase the snow. The sports schools at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables are run by NZSKI and instructors and athletes from around the world travel to Queenstown every year to teach and train. You will be working on the full roster for the first 5 weeks, and after this time there is the possibility to work part-time around level 3 training (this is dependant on the employee/employer relationship and work available).

Thia level 3 snowboard instructor internship is the first step to achieving the next level of snowboard instruction. NZSki is a top employer and you will be trained to the highest New Zealand standards and get work experience that will help you get a step up into the winter sports industry.

This is the first step towards gaining your ISIA stamp. Candidates please be aware that to achieve the stamp you must also consider acquiring qualification in a second discipline (such as skiing), learning a second language, doing some race training, and completing further education modules to fulfil ISIA criteria. For more information please call us on 01548 831152.

Please note: Whilst every step is taken to provide a Level 3 exam at the end of the course in Coronet Peak, occasionally participants may be required to travel at their own cost to an alternative resort to take the Level 3 exam.

Call, email or book online to submit an application. A member of the team will be in touch to hold an phone interview and we will ask for evidence of previous qualifications, and your work visa.
