NZSIA qualifications are highly regarded and internationally recognised. This programme is the ideal option for those already travelling in the southern hemisphere, or if you are wanting to kick-start a gap year and be able to work as a ski instructor during the European/Canadian winter.

Minimum standard for instructors internationally is level 2, so it is recommended this course is taken as a minimum for those looking for on-going employment.

More famous for Lord of the Rings than ski resorts, New Zealand is not always seen as a hot-spot for skiing, however it is the southern hemisphere go-to place for off-season snow chasers. Customers are always astounded by the snow fall and amount of terrain on offer in Queenstown, and the iconic scenery is the icing on the cake.

The sports schools at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables are run by NZSKI and our courses are provided by our partners SITco who are an established and highly experinced instructor training provider based in Queenstown. Instructors and athletes from around the world travel to Queenstown every year to teach and train.

QUEENSTOWN

Right in the heart of New Zealand’s South Island and surrounded by snow-capped mountains, here you have access to two of the best ski resorts in the southern hemisphere, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables. This is a stunningly beautiful place to ski or board!
