Our New Zealand ski instructor short course is an intensive and challenging programme. In just 5 weeks we aim to take you through Level 1 & 2 NZSIA instructor qualifications. This is not for the faint-hearted.
Over 5 weeks you will be trained and mentored by experienced pro-NZSIA instructors. Training is intense and aimed for fast-track improvement, if you are a competent skier and believe you have the determination to succeed, this is the course for you - in fact, we're so confident in your progression, both level 1 and level 2 exam fees are included.
Adrenaline seekers will love Queenstown and it’s surrounding resorts – the moguls and steeps are every skiers dream, and, if you need anything more to entice you to New Zealand we throw in a day’s heli skiing so you can experience the excitement of the back country – it’s a real once in a lifetime opportunity!
Season Lift Pass
The lift pass is season long, and covers both Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, if you wish to extend your time in Queenstown, or return to resort within the season, your lift pass will continue to be valid.
Season pass holders reveive discounts at the resort owned retail outlets and ski tuning shop.
A unlimited bus pass from Queenstown to the ski areas is included.
A heli-ski adventure day is included in the price.
A rep is in resort all season to oversee the course. Reps are knowledgeable about the resort, qualifications and training and offer pastoral care.

NZSIA qualifications are highly regarded and internationally recognised and this intensive short ski instructor course has been designed especially for customers looking to get level 1 and 2 in the shortest time possible. Taking place in the British & European summer holidays, this programme is ideal for experienced skiers looking for a break from the norm during their summer break.
Looking for employment once certified? The industry standard is level 2, and once you're qualified we have several ski schools we can put you in contact with who employ for either full seasons or the peak holiday weeks in December, February and March.
Training takes place across two resorts, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables whilst you live in the nearby town of Queenstown. You’ll receive professional training and mentoring 6 days a week. There will be 12 intensive training days before your exam. There will be regular personal assessment, evening sessions and video analysis. With everything set up for fast-track improvement, you’ll be prepared to take your Level 1 NZSIA certification in week three going on to take your level 2 in the final week.
Queenstown is the go-to place for 'summer' skiing and with consistent snow fall, epic terrain and iconic scenary, you will not be disappointed. A vibrant, tourist hot-spot the town is a buzzing and energetic place to enjoy a ski instructor course.
