Not only will you improve your snowsports ability, but you’ll also earn a qualification as an elite emergency responder, and have real back-country experience making you a valuable asset to every ski and snowboard school in the world. Included in the price of this course is all specialist equipment during training and a heli-ski/heli-board experience day.

You’ll start in January joining the CSIA or CASI level 1 training, then, in early February you’ll jump into the Ski Patrol training programme. You’ll be first on the mountain preparing the slopes for the day, looking after injured guests and making sure everyone gets down the mountain safely when the mountain closes. You’ll learn about outdoor emergency patient care, avalanche control, air rescue, helicopter orientation, toboggan handling, mountaineering and many other essential and fascinating skills that will help you find work within the Ski Patrol Service. In the last week of the course there is a heli-ski day where you will experience powder and back-country like never before, the perfect way to top off a great season of training.

Panorama is a hidden gem of a resort – an Alpine-style, ski-in ski-out hideaway, nestled deep in British Columbia’s Purcell mountains.
