On this summer snowboard instructor course you'll spend 10 weeks in the magnificent Queenstown, New Zealand, training for internationally recognised SBINZ level 1 & 2 certification. You will train during the northern hemisphere summer and be certified in time to apply for instructor jobs in Canada, Europe and Japan.
SBINZ pro-instructors mentor and lead the training over the 10 weeks. The course is geared for fast-track improvement and your riding will improve quickly, by week four you'll be prepared to take the SBINZ level 1. In fact, we're so confident in your progression, both level 1 and level 2 exam fees are included in the price.
Towards the end of the course you'll get to push your new skills to the limit on a once in a lifetime Heli-boarding adventure day, where you will explore remote, untouched powder. "

Season Lift Pass
The lift pass is season long, and covers both Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, if you wish to extend your time in Queenstown, or return to resort within the season, your lift pass will continue to be valid.
Season pass holders reveive discounts at the resort owned retail outlets and ski tuning shop.
A unlimited bus pass from Queenstown to the resorts is included.
A heli-boarding adventure day is included in the price.
A rep is in resort all season to oversee the course. Reps are knowledgeable about the resort, qualifications and training and offer pastoral care.

This programme is the ideal option for those already travelling in the southern hemisphere, or if you are wanting to kick-start a gap year and be able to work as a snowboard instructor during the European/Canadian winter. SBINZ certification is highly regarded internationally, most sports schools employ from a minimum standard of level 2, so it is recommended this course is taken as a minimum for those looking for on-going employment.

On our New Zealand snowboard instructor course, you’ll train at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables and live in the nearby town of Queenstown.
