VerbierSwitzerland
Verbier ski resort in the Swiss Alps is one of the world’s most prestigious mountain resorts. At the centre of the Four Valleys, it is one of the largest ski areas in Europe. With 95 lifts and over 400km of pistes it really does offer something for all skiers. Its wealth of activities, reliable snow cover and sunny slopes make it an exceptional place to ski and the variable terrain is ideal for running our ski instructor courses.
The whole ski area has 35 blue pistes, 39 red pistes, 14 black pistes, a snowpark, a handful of cross-country ski and winter walking trails and an incredible array of off-piste opportunities.
It is this off-piste skiing that Verbier is famous for. The better your skiing, the more the resort comes into its own. Easier blue and red skiing can be found in the central valley area but on the whole this is an intermediate/expert rather than beginner resort.

Verbier Resort and Accommodation
It’s not all about the skiing!
Even though Verbier is one of the most popular resorts in Europe it still remains a charming resort, and has a vibrant atmosphere. The village centre is bustling with life and this is where much of the famous après-ski takes off.
We use high quality chalet accommodation, all located within walking distance of the nearest lift and town centre. Your chalet will have all the amenities you require to make it a home-from-home which is so important when staying for a 10 week or more course. The accommodation is used exclusively for the BASI level 1 & 2 course.
Verbier Ski Season
When’s best to go?
Thanks to its high altitude Verbier is a very snow sure resort. The average annual snowfall in Verbier is 550 centimetres each year. Natural powder is augmented with 50 cannons or “snow guns” along 4.2km of piste which equates to approximately 40% of all Verbier runs. In the coldest winter months of January and February you’ll be grateful for a resort with South facing ski areas, which offer some welcome light and warmth in the depths of a mountain winter.
