Great News for Instructors

Japan has relaxed the visa restrictions for Ski Instructors.

Within the year, ski instructors will be classed as hospitality workers – so visas will be easier to get! Excellent news if you want to work in Japan next season!
To instruct in Japan you used to need a sports instructor visa – which required 3 years of professional experience. If you only work the Northern hemisphere winter, having 3 years worth of experience will take up to 12 years to get! Bonkers!

Native Seasonnaire Job Fair 2015

Saturday 20th June was the Natives job fair at the Novotel London West. If you missed out on this one, don’t worry – catch us there again in September. It’s a great place to gain advice and information about how to spend your winter season!
We met some lovely people who are now looking forward to spending the winter with us!

Summer at Sun Peaks Resort

Our friends at Sun Peaks Resort open the lifts for the summer season of hiking and biking this weekend. If you’re in the area, check out what Sun Peaks has to offer in the sunshine!

Fancy Buying an Entire Resort?

Spout Springs in Oregon, USA, has gone on the market for a cool $1.25 million (that’s about £795K). What a bargain – in the UK three quarters of a million pounds will only get you a four bed house in Surrey!

Tip of the Week

Thanks to Transworld Snowboarding for posting the importance of choosing the right wax! Read the article and you’ll soon realise how paying that little bit extra will make all the difference during the season!
Take care of your board like it’s your baby – because lets face it, for most of us our board is our baby!
