Are deposits refundable if I have to cancel ?

Read below to see our rules. We will refund your total amount in most cases which we feel is very fair!

In fact, you will have to work pretty hard NOT to get your money back.

Internship only Payment Plan:

1. Pay a £300 deposit; it goes towards ATOL insurance. Your money is bonded and insured and gets you on the internship program.

2. Once you get informed by the Wintersports team, enter the visa program when it opens for applicants; we suggest doing this as early as possible due to limited visas. You now need a job offer to get a visa invite. We will assist you with this from start to finish. However, the guide we send you should be clear enough for you to get through the process on your own; if not, our in house visa expert will assist you free of charge.

3. Once you have been invited to the IEC Working Holiday Visa Program, you pay £1000, which completes your deposit. (We suggest getting cheap travel insurance at this point to secure your £1300 deposit, in case you then have some bizarre gardening accident or hurt yourself doing extreme ironing and cannot go on holiday)

Our payment scheme then continues in either this manner.

4. Equal monthly payments up to 4 weeks before flying or….one final lump sum 8 weeks before flying.

We only refund the total amount if you:

Are you refused a visa (please send us a screenshot of your portal)

Are not invited (please send us a screenshot of your portal)

The visas are not being handed out

We are not running the courses due to Covid

You cannot fly into Canada due to Covid

You do not get your first choice of resort. (Your option of resort will be offered to you upon the visa invite and us receiving the £1000)

So as you can see, we will refund your total amount in most cases which we feel is very fair!

Course Only Payment Plan:

This similar to the internship payment plan.

£300 deposit

£1000 deposit 16 weeks before flying

Flexible payment plan: Equal monthly instalments up to 4 weeks before flying

Fixed payment plan: Full payment 8 weeks before flying

We only refund in full if:

We are not running the courses due to Covid

You cannot fly into Canada due to Covid

General cancellation policy:

0-8 WEEKS: Loss of Total booking cost

8-12 WEEKS: 25% loss of total booking cost

12-16 WEEKS: Loss of £1300 deposit

16+ weeks: Loss of £300 deposit

The cancellation policy with regards to these final amounts is on our terms and conditions

We will transfer your funds if:

If you decide to defer to the following year, your money will be transferred to the next year.
If you decide to change to another course in the same country, your money will be transferred to this course.
