Tourists go to Whistler, Riders go to Big White
Big snow, big views, Big White… A resort like no other
A long-time favourite for skiers of all levels, Big White is a resort that truly has it all. The mountain offers a huge amount of variety across its 119 marked trails, with plenty of wide, smooth runs perfect for building confidence and more challenging paths through the trees once you’re ready. What makes the experience so effortless is the village itself. Canada’s largest ski-in, ski-out resort where you can ski right from your door to the lifts. This convenience, combined with a charming, friendly feel and lots of great places to eat and go out, makes it the perfect spot for a classic Canadian experience.
Big White is one of the most incredible places you’ll ever ski or snowboard, famous for its unique winter atmosphere. Set high in the Monashee Mountains, you’ll glide down the slopes surrounded by stunning views and the legendary “snow ghosts” – trees so plastered with ice and snow they form magical white sculptures. The resort is blessed with an average of 7.5 metres (24.5 feet) of incredibly light, dry “champagne powder” each year, which makes turning easier and falling a lot softer. It’s the perfect snowy paradise to fall in love with the sport.

“My season at Big White was epic! The trainers are on another level, they’re the actual experts who mark the exams, so the coaching you get is unbeatable. You’re set up for success from day one. Between the incredible powder, living the village, and training with an amazing group of people, it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I left with my Level 2 and memories for a lifetime.”
