We choose these resorts for a reason. They are all unique in what they have to offer.

Each with different attributes. All providing a unique experience and where possible have slope-side accommodation. Our relationship with our resort partners have only solidified during these last couple of years. As a result we have both gone from strength to strength.

Their attention to safety without compromising on the experience have impressed us. Continually proving to us that we have made a great decision in supporting these stunning venues.

Verbier – Mountain

Located in the Valais Canton of the Swiss Alps, Switzerland, Verbier’s reputation as a prestigious world-class resort precedes itself. It typifies European big mountain skiing at its best. At the centre of the Four Valleys, it is one of the largest ski areas in Europe. With 95 lifts and over 400km of pistes and perhaps even more famous for the freeride terrain, it offers something for all snow and mountain enthusiasts.

Maybe just come to see the famous iconic summit of Mont-Gelé, at 3,023 m, which gives a spectacular view over Les Attelas!

Verbier is accessible by several airports in Switzerland and Italy. For example, around 170km east of Geneva airport. You can drive, take a transfer bus, or even take the train through the mountains for a unique experience.

Verbier’s exceptional terrain and reliable snow cover make it a fantastic place to take your Winter Sports BASI ski and snowboard instructor course.

Verbier- Resort

Verbier remains an increasingly popular and authentic Swiss charming resort, full of wooden chalets and a cosy, vibrant atmosphere. The town centre is bustling with life, events, and designer retail shops. It is also famous for the huge selection of gourmet restaurants, and bars, where much of the famous après-ski takes off!

We use high-quality chalet accommodation, located within walking distance of the nearest lift and town centre. Your chalet will have all the amenities you require to make it a home-from-home, essential when staying for a ten week or more course. The accommodation is used exclusively for the BASI level 1 & 2 courses.

Verbier- Activities

We think that it’s impossible to be bored in Verbier! Apart from skiing and snowboarding, other winter activities are, of course, available. What about snowshoeing, hiking, sledging, husky rides and heli-ski? You will also find the usual shops, bars, restaurants, cinema and spa and beauty treatments in the town.

There is a sports centre with a swimming pool, spa, indoor climbing wall, and fitness classes for those with energy left over. However, we think the real challenge is to put up your feet, drink some tea, and find nothing to do!

The training will be given by experienced top expert BASI instructors, concentrating on BASI technique and teaching, whilst enjoying the best terrain and conditions that Verbier offers.

“110% Recommend The Winter Sports Company”

Emma Murphy – 10 Nov 2020

“Such an amazing company! Despite being in the middle of a global pandemic, the Winter Sports Company have done an absolutes fantastic job of organising and supporting my trip to Verbier this winter. The Winter Sports Company have been so reassuring and easy to work with, given the situation at the moment. I am so pleased I choose them and I can’t wait to get to go to the mountains with them – 100% recommend!! “
