CASI Level 2 Snowboard Instructor Course Review

Initial Nerves
“I completed the 11-week snowboard instructor course in Sun Peaks, where I qualified as a level 1 and level 2 snowboard instructor.
Being the only girl in the snowboarding group was pretty intimidating at first (especially when 30 boys greeted me at the airport!) But I soon realised that being in a group of guys would force me to push my riding to its limits to keep up with them. We always had such a laugh in lessons, and I became an honorary boy by the end of the season!”
Training and Instruction

Our instructors made sure we had a good mix of riding different terrain, moguls, steeps, powder and trees – we did it all, and although it could be challenging, we always had a blast.”
Accommodation and Time off
“The accommodation at the Hearthstone Lodge was comfortable and felt like home after just a few days. It was great living with your coursemates and the rooms supplied everything you could need. Their DVD collection is definitely worth mentioning, and many evenings were spent chilling out in the hot tubs and watching films with mates.”
