Booking A Course With The Winter Sports Company

I have recently completed a Level 1 Ski Instructor Course with The Winter Sports Company, and I could not have had a better time. Deciding to take this course was one of the best decisions of my life. My experience from the moment I decided to take the course to getting on the bus to leave could not have been easier and more laid back. How do I Book onto a Course?

Training For The CSIA Level 1

We were on the mountain seven days a week, and training was scheduled Monday to Friday, 9 am to 3 pm. I was only on the course for Level 1, and my only regrets would be that I didn’t stay longer, even though I did try. All the instructors were fantastic and clearly loved what they do; they are full of guidance and knowledge and know exactly when to give you a little extra push to reach your goals. The whole course carried great energy as we became friends and helped one another improve; there were no ‘teacher/student’ strict boundaries, making the entire experience more enjoyable.

Living At Sun Peaks Resort

We were fortunate enough to be on the same floor and adjacent to one another in the Hearthstone Lodge. The lodge provided a great spot to gather for lunches and dinners. All the staff were helpful, and we got to know a few of them quite well. Our rooms were ‘cosy’, especially with three girls, but you soon get used to it. After all, there are no secrets on the mountain. There is also an open fire in each room, which is fantastic when you come in to defrost.

Reviews For The Winter Sports Company

I have certainly improved my skiing skills, and I feel very confident about being able to teach others of all ages. The friends you make both on the mountain and on this course will remain with you for life. The memories you make with your new snow bums are once in a lifetime, and it wasn’t easy leaving them to return to the ‘warm’ UK (it had been hitting -30 degrees in Sun Peaks – mild chill).

The Winter Sports Company has been great since I signed up, and I highly recommend that anyone interested in doing a Ski or Snowboarding course contact Winter Sports. Hopefully, I will see everyone back on the mountain soon.
