“The whole course feels like you are all friends helping one another improve; there are no ‘teacher/student’ strict boundaries, making the whole experience more enjoyable. I have certainly improved my skiing and feel very confident with being able to teach others of all ages.” – Courtney Rose
My Experience Booking
“I have recently completed a Level 1 Ski Instructor Course with The Winter Sports Company (Season 13/14), and I could not have had a better time. Deciding to take this course was one of the best decisions of my life. My experience from the moment I decided to take the course, to getting on the bus to leave, could not have been easier and more laid back.”
Training and Instruction
“We were on the mountain seven days a week, with Monday to Friday, 9 am till 3 pm on the course. I was only on the course for the first level and my only regrets would be that I didn’t stay longer, even though I did try. All the instructors were fantastic and clearly loved what they do; they are full of guidance and knowledge and know exactly when to give you a little extra push to reach your goals.

The Accommodation and Living
“We were fortunate enough to be on the same floor and adjacent to one another in the Hearthstone Lodge. The lodge provided a great spot to gather for lunches and after dinner as well as easy room hopping to locate the most entertaining room, and avoid those who were sleeping after a hard day on the mountain! All the staff were helpful, and we got to know a few of them quite well. Our rooms were ‘cosy’, especially with three girls, but you soon get used to it. After all, there are no secrets on the mountain. There is also an open fire in each room which is fantastic when you come in to defrost.”
The Peoples and Memories Made
“I have certainly improved my skiing and feel very confident with being able to teach others of all ages. The friends you make both on the mountain and on this course will remain with you for life. The memories you make with your new snow bums are once in a lifetime, and it certainly wasn’t easy leaving them all up the mountain to go back to the ‘warm’ UK (it had been hitting -30 degrees in Sun Peaks – mild chill).
The Winter Sports Company have been great from the moment I signed up, and I would highly recommend that anyone interested in doing a Ski or Snowboarding course contact Winter Sports.
Hopefully see everyone back on the mountain soon.”
