Earn Rewards On The Mountain And Unlock An End Of Month Grand Prize By Completing Social Media Initiatives Each Month!
What is WSCollective?
Welcome to the WSC Social Media Challenge. This monthly programme is your chance to get creative, share your mountain experience, and win prizes while contributing to the Winter Sports Company community. Each month is split into three content-creation weeks followed by an admin and prize-draw week.
You can take part at any level, whether you prefer snapping photos, filming short clips, or creating a blog or vlog. Every approved submission earns credits, and credits unlock monthly and end-of-season prizes. The challenges are fun, flexible, and designed to help you capture your best moments on and off the snow.
WSCollective is an optional content programme running alongside your winter with Winter Sports Company.
It’s designed to capture the real story of a season in Canada – training days, exams, work, progress, setbacks, good days and bad ones – and to reward people who help document that experience.
You choose how involved you want to be.
You can take part casually or commit more time.
Effort is rewarded fairly.
This is not an influencer programme.
Phone photos and videos are expected.
No posting schedule. No pressure.

How It Works

-

-
You choose which challenges to complete
-
Approved content earns credits
-
Credits = entries into a monthly prize draw

Monthly Structure
Each month follows the same rhythm:
Weeks 1–3 – Content Weeks

-

-
Credits are finalised

-
Cycle resets for the next month
The Three Challenge Levels
You can sign up for one, two, or all three levels and switch between them at any time. You can pair up, create a team or work solo. Monthly prizes are awarded by a draw. Every credit you earn gives you another entry, so the more you contribute, the better your chances.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you dont find your answers to your questions here then simply send us an email or on the WSCollective Whats App Chat group.
No. WSCollective is completely optional.
If you want to focus purely on training, work, and enjoying your season, that’s absolutely fine. This is here for people who want to document their experience and maybe get something back for it.
No.
You don’t need:
-
A big following
-
Editing skills
-
Fancy equipment
Phone photos and videos are expected. This is about capturing real moments, not polished influencer content.
No.
Level 1 (Snapper) is photo-based only.
Even at Level 2 or 3, you can film surroundings, POV shots, or talk behind the camera if you prefer.
Yes.
You can join at any point during the season.
Missing weeks doesn’t matter and there’s no disadvantage to starting later.
As much or as little as you want.
Rough guide:
-
Level 1: 5–10 minutes (you’re probably taking the photos anyway)
-
Level 2: 15–30 minutes
-
Level 3: Longer, but only once per month
There’s no expectation to do everything.
Yes.
You can:
-
Stick to one role
-
Mix roles
-
Change roles week to week
Credits stack regardless of which role they come from.
Yes, if they fit the task.
You don’t need to film everything on the same day the task is released. If something from earlier in the week (or even earlier in the season) fits the brief, that’s fine.
Think of credits as entries.
-
Every approved task earns credits
-
Every credit = one entry into the monthly draw
-
More credits = better odds
Credits improve your chances, but they don’t guarantee anything.
Monthly prizes are awarded by a credit-weighted draw.
This means:
-
Effort matters
-
Resort size doesn’t matter
-
No single “winner takes all” league table
Leaderboards show progress, not winners.
Leaderboards are there for:
-
Motivation
-
Visibility
-
Momentum
They show who’s active, not who’s guaranteed to win.
Your leaderboard position simply reflects how many entries you have.
No.
Monthly prizes are awarded across all resorts combined.
This keeps things fair and avoids some resorts having an advantage just because they’re bigger.
Each month:
-
1st place (draw): up to $1,000 CAD
- 2nd place (draw): up to $250 CAD
-
3rd place (draw): up to $80 CAD
All values are in CAD and paid into your account.
*If uptake is lower than expected, we will split the top prize to two lucky equal winners.
Most tasks earn credits only.
On the odd occasion:
-
A specific Level 2 or Level 3 task may be paid or carry an individual one off prize.
-
This will always be stated clearly in advance
-
There will always be a cap
Anything beyond the paid limit still earns credits. *Future paid positions proving content within the company will be available to a select few.
Because Instagram isn’t storage.
Google Photos:
-
Keeps full-quality originals
-
Prevents content getting lost
-
Allows us to reuse content later (website, guides, future seasons)
You’re welcome to post on Instagram and tag us.
For WSCollective credits and long-term use, we still need the original upload.
No.
WhatsApp is for:
-
Announcements
-
Leaderboards
-
Prize updates
- minimal chat
Content sent via WhatsApp won’t be counted.
Rejected content:
-
Doesn’t earn credits
-

-

-
Very blurry or dark
-
Unsafe or inappropriate
-

-

We’re looking for usable content, not perfection.
Initially, only the WSCollective team.
Some content may later be:
-
Shared on WSC social channels
-
Used on the website
-
Included in blogs or guides
We credit creators where practical.
No.
You keep ownership of your content.
By uploading, you’re giving WSC permission to reuse it.
If you ever want something removed, just tell us.
Yes.
You can:
-
Work solo
-
Pair up
-
Collaborate with course mates

Paid content opportunities
-
Branded kit
-
Written references
-
Increased referral benefits
This is based on consistency and quality over time.
Ask.
You can:
-
Message the WSCollective team
-
Speak to your resort rep
-
Raise it in person
If something isn’t clear, we’d rather explain it properly than have people guessing.
Credits, Leaderboards & Fairness
