Cath Woodhart –“The terrain at Sun Peaks is perfect for Level 3 ski improvement and learning to teach, and the instructors are all highly experienced and extremely helpful. In our opinion, The Winter Sports Company run the best value for money programmes out there. We’re hoping to be back for our third year next winter, and that’s about the best recommendation there is!”

Sun Peaks Ski Resort

Skiing in Canada is a fantastic experience, and skiing in Sun Peaks is ideal for any ski/board instructor course. The snow is like the best snow in Europe, but every day the slopes are well groomed, with excellent variety, and, best of all, completely uncrowded most of the season. You just don’t get whole runs of moguls in Europe, but in Sun Peaks, you can challenge yourself top to bottom on massive bumps, ski steep bowls, play in the trees or cruise all day on wide, safe pistes. The terrain is perfect for ski improvement and learning to teach, and the instructors are all highly experienced and extremely helpful. Many become valued friends.

Training For The CSIA Level 3

We’ve skied with Winter Sports Company’s instructor programme for the last two seasons, gaining Levels 1 and 2 the first year and following the Level 3 course last year. The Level 3 training is genuinely challenging, with superb instruction aimed at technical excellence. In our opinion, The Winter Sports Company runs the best value-for-money programmes.

Reviews For The Winter Sports Company

The accommodation is first class, comfortable, roomy, well-run, and close to the slopes. There’s not much to do in the evenings in Sun Peaks village, but if you want crazy nightlife, you can’t be skiing hard enough! Steve and Karen are genuinely interested in all their clients and are doing their best to ensure everyone is successful and happy on the course. As skiers and instructors themselves, they know what’s important and will always try to ensure their clients have the best possible experience. We’re hoping to be back for our third year next winter, and that’s about the best recommendation there is!
